How does the domain name rental work with domaincouch.com? If you are interested in renting one of the domain names available for rent on domaincouch.com you simply send me an email stating your interest in renting the domain name you want. In this email you should let me know what you plan on doing with the domain name. At this point you should also let me know how long you want to rent the domain name for. If your proposed use of the domain name is acceptable to me then I will o.k. your request to rent the domain name. You can send me payment for the rental of the domain name by PayPal in the amount of $50.00 per month for every month you want to rent the domain name. If you want to rent the domain name for 3 months for example, you would send me a PayPal payment for $150.00 to dora@domaincouch.com. When you send me the payment, you should at the same time, let me know which domain nameserver you would like me to point the domain name to that you are renting. I also accept checks for payment. Once I have received payment, I will point the domain name to the nameserver you have told me to. What is the process of buying a domain name from domaincouch.com? You would send me an email letting me know which domain name listed on domaincouch.com you are interested in buying and give me an offer price for it. Please note, the minimum offer I will look at for any domain name listed on domaincouch.com is $400.00. If I find your offer price acceptable, I will send you an email confirming the offer price is acceptable to me. You can then have up to 30 days, from the day I send you the email which states your offer was acceptable to me to send me payment for it via PayPal or check. PayPal payments would be sent to dora@domaincouch.com. Check Payment can be made out to Dora's Web World and sent to: Dora's Web World If the offer you sent me for the domain name is unacceptable to me, I will let you know and send you a price that would be acceptable to me. If you agree, then we can go ahead with making a deal for the domain name and your purchase of it from me. Once I have received the payment for it from you, I will transfer the domain name to the account you have created at namecheap.com or godaddy.com so that there will be no additional transfer fees associated with the domain name purchase and transfer. Please note, all of the domain names that I am offering for sale here on domaincouch.com are registered at either namecheap.com or godaddy.com. You would open an account at whichever domain name registrar the domain name is currently registered at and after I receive the payment, I would transfer the domain to your account at the same registrar that the domain name is currently registered at. How would I sell a domain name with you? You would let me know you are interested in selling a domain name through me. You would let me know what the name of the domain name is, where it is registered and when it expires You would then let me know what price you would be willing to accept for the domain name and what is your ideal sale price for the domain name. If I am able to negotiate an acceptable price for you, with a buyer, then I would ask once that once I have found a buyer for you, and they have sent me payment for the domain name, that you would transfer the domain name to my account at namecheap.com or godaddy.com. Once the domain name is in my account at namecheap.com or godaddy.com then I will send you the payment for the domain name via PayPal minus 15 percent for my domain name brokerage fees (my service fee) and finish transfering the domain name to the buyer. Is is better to buy a domain name from you using the domain name brokerage services of sedo.com? If you would prefer to use sedo.com to broker your domain name purchase with me, that is fine. I understand, that sedo.com is a domain name broker that has been in the business much longer than me so you may have a greater trust in the sedo.com name than you would have in mine. I hope this changes in the future but, as I undestand this may be an issue, I am o.k. with using sedo.com's services. I would however, ask that you would let me know that you prefer to use sedo.com's brokerage services from the beginning, so that I can calculate that into the accettable price I would be willing to take for the domain name, as I would pay the sedo.com fees for the brokerage fees. Please note, if you buy the domain name straight from me the transfer of the domain name, to you, would be much quicker I believe as we would not have to wait for sedo.com's involvement. If time factors is not as important as the trust factor, then sedo.com's brokerage services maybe more acceptable to you. You can trust me though, have no doubt about this. To round up, using sedo.com may increase the price of the domain name for you and end up taking longer for you to get the domain name you have bought transferred to your complete ownership then if you bought the domain name straight from me without using the domain name brokerage services of sedo.com.
